Guitar lessons
Lessons are catered to the needs of the student. I believe that the most important aspect of teaching music is keeping it fun and interesting, and that means working toward the goals and objectives of the student. We will focus on what you want to learn.
If you’re a beginner, you’ll first learn how to physically play your instrument. Proper fretting and right hand technique will be addressed. After a few exercises to get you comfortable with your instrument, we’ll get right to work playing songs. You’ll be up and running in no time.
If you’re an experienced player, we’ll focus on your weak areas and move you up to the next level. A lot of musicians get to a point where their playing levels off and they stop improving. A few key elements can reignite that spark you once had and make playing exciting again. True artists must continually challenge themselves in order to keep their passion alive and thriving. Learn the “why” behind the “how” and expand your knowledge. Learn to apply music theory for improvisation and writing bass lines. It’s never too late to improve and become a more confident player.
Lessons are conducted in my private studio in River Vale, NJ. Work one on one in a relaxed environment, focusing on material you want to learn. No books, no repetition, just a good time making music. What are you waiting for? Get started today!
I also offer guitar lessons for beginner and intermediate students.
